Skoda Octavia RS - front-wheel drive five-seater C-class liftback. The presentation of the “charged” version of the third generation Octavia took place in July 2013 at the “Speed Contest” in Goodwood, England.
From "civilian" The RS model is distinguished by a lowered sports suspension, an “evil” body kit, an electronic imitation of differential lock, as well as more “rich” equipment as standard. Changes in the chassis affected both the front and rear multi-link suspension. The steering wheel was "cut", thereby reducing the number of revolutions from lock to lock. Octavia RS received the same power plants as the last generation Golf GTI (diesel modification is designated Golf GTD) - petrol 2.0 TSI (220 hp, 350 Nm) and diesel 2.0 TDI (184 hp, 380 Nm). Both motors are supercharged, and both are aggregated by default with a manual six-speed box. The petrol modification accelerates to “hundreds” in 6.8 seconds, and the diesel modification in 8.1 seconds. The maximum speed is 248 and 232 km/h respectively. An alternative to the "mechanics" is a six-speed DSG preselective "robot" with two wet clutches.
The list of basic equipment of the Octavia RS also includes sports seats with advanced lateral support, an 8-speaker audio system and 17-inch alloy wheels.
