Skoda Spaceback is a front-wheel drive B-class hatchback, the public premiere of which took place in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and European sales began a month later. Debut on the Ukrainian market - March-April 2014.
It is noteworthy that the Spaceback, which in some ways resembles the Audi A3 Sportback, is positioned in the company as a more youthful car than "Rapid" in a liftback body. Therefore, among the options for the hatchback, a panoramic roof is also offered, as well as a “fitting” of the roof, spoiler and tailgate in black.
For "business executives", for an extra charge, the Czechs provided for a two-level organization of the trunk.
If we compare the hatchback with the Rapid in the back of a liftback, it turns out that the five-door turned out to be 18 centimeters shorter. Nevertheless, the wheelbase of the car has not changed, and the interior, in turn, has not lost in spaciousness. Only the boot had to be sacrificed, the volume of which in the hatchback was 415 liters in the normal state or 1,380 liters with the rear seats folded down. For a liftback, these figures are 550 and 1,490 liters, respectively.
