Skoda Yeti - the first crossover in the history of the brand, which debuted in 2009 at the international auto show in Geneva. The developers borrowed many units for the Skoda Yeti from the second generation of the Octavia, including the suspension - front McPherson struts and rear multi-link. The plug-in all-wheel drive system, available for the top versions of the model, also inherited the crossover from the liftback.

Against the background of competitors, the Skoda Yeti boasts a spacious interior, as well as a large luggage compartment, the volume of which is normally 405 liters, and with the rear seats folded down, it can be increased to 1,760 liters.

Front-wheel drive modifications are aggregated by a four-cylinder 1.2-liter engine belonging to the TSI family of turbocharged engines. Its power is 105 hp, and the peak torque available in the range of 1,500-4,500 rpm is 175 Nm. The engine can be paired with either a six-speed “mechanics” or a seven-band “robot” DSG with dual clutch.

Vehicles equipped with a 1.8-litre TSI petrol or a 2-litre TDI diesel are all-wheel drive by default. In the first case, with a manual gearbox, the power of the gasoline engine is 160 hp, and with a six-band "robot" - 152 hp. Peak torque, regardless of modification, is the same and amounts to 250 Nm. Two-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 140 hp is the most torque motor of the entire range of power plants for the Ukrainian market. Its peak is reached in the range of 1,750-2,500 rpm and is equal to 320 Nm. The heavy fuel engine is equipped exclusively with “mechanics”.

Skoda Yeti is offered in three trim levels - Active, Ambition and Elegance. For top-end versions, in addition to the all-wheel drive system, you can also order an uphill / downhill assistance system.

Ground clearance Skoda Yeti - 180 mm. It is produced by the SKD method at the Eurocar plant in Transcarpathia.
